The A-510's high speed operation and fast positioning capability make it ideal for pick and place application.
The A-510 is the first small assembly robot to be equipped with a fully electronic absolute position detection system. This elliminates the need for zero return operations after power on, and permits fully automatic operation of the robot on an assembly line.
The adoption of an AC servo motor and digital servo systemhas resulted in the attainment of an outstanding repeatability rating of +/- 0.025mm ( based on JIS B6330 testing )
A hollow structure has been adopted in the articulated components, and no wiring or cables are exposed on the outside. The user may also add a hand cable to the robot via the wrist.
The vertical axis which has conventionally been incorporated into the wrist, thereby frequently causing interference within the robot's working area, has been relocated to the robot base. The result is a slim wrist which can easily avoid interference with peripheral equipment.
Superlative structural rigidity has been achieved with the adoption of a unique closed frame system in the mechanical module.
The standard load capacity of the wrist is 7kg. When the speed is particularly restricted, up to 20kg can be handled.
