Fanuc newly developed Fanuc Robot F200i, a compact parallel link robot with 100kg load capacity. The new robot is suitable for spot welding and transfer jobs in a limited space.
The robot has a small mechanical unit and the most efficient motion area, which permits dense installation of the robots.
As the robot has no arms to swing around, there is minimum interference with the operators or the peripheral equipment, which produces safe and space-efficient robot system.
The electric power consumption is approximately one fifth of the conventional robot, whichcontributes to addressing today's very important environmental objective by saving energy of the factory.
The mechanical unit is protected from welding spatter, grease cleaning fluid and water.
The simple struicture produces excellent maintainability. The six legs are all built with common parts, in order to minimise the number of spare maintenance parts.
