The FANUC ROBOT P-155 is an electric painting robot developed to improve reliability and cost-effectiveness by applying advanced painting technology.
This remarkable robot was developed jointly by FANUC and FANUC Robotics.
The joint effort combined FANUC's CNC technology acquired over 30 years, the latest robot technology, and FANUC Robotics' painting robot technology that has been applied to many robots now in use throughout the world.
Load capacity of 7 kg, suitable for a large paint atomizer.
The robot is both compact and able to paint large areas, thereby making optimum use of the painting booth.
The compact hollow wrist has three degrees of freedom. A hose supplying paint can be installed in a protective sheath in the robot arm to minimise the length of hose.
It is easy to clean the robot because there are no protrusions or bellows. The surface of the robot is specially treated to be resilient to paint solvents.
The balance arm construction minimises the heat produced by the motor even under severe conditions.
A software package developed for painting enables the robot to be easily taught painting procedures.
